Subject: Wounded Warrior Hunt
Commanders,
My name is Ronny Sweger. I'm a life member of the MOPH and meet with chapter 563. I'm involved with a group called Wounded Warriors In Action (WWIA). WWIA is a national non-profit foundation that provides outdoor activities for Purple Heart recipients. I'm working to start an Oklahoma chapter of the WWIA.
I retrained as a taxidermist after being medically retired for combat injuries. Through taxidermy, I've met several guides that want to take Wounded Warriors hunting. I'm holding a duck hunt for 2-4 PH recipients January 27-29, 2012 around Boley, OK. I'd like to get your unit involved in this and future hunts. I am still raising funds for this hunt. If anyone in your unit wishes to donate, it is tax deductable. Donation checks are made out to the WWIA. I'm also looking for sponsors, volunteers, guides, and land owners that wish to support our extraordinary Heroes. If any of your members wish to hunt or fish with the WWIA, have them go to
http://www.woundedwarriorsinaction.org/
and get started. If you have any questions, please call me.
Thank you and God Bless,
Ronny Sweger
