We are always looking to start new groups! If you are interested in finding out what it takes to get a group started in your area, contact Dr. Julie or Cheryl.

Dr. Julie is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and received her Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. She was active duty for over 11 years, and during that time her training, work and personal experiences gave her the opportunity to see the gamut of consequences military life can have on military members and their families. After leaving active duty to focus on her own family in 2006, Dr. Julie joined the Operation Homefront/WWW team to continue to use her skills and experiences to help our country’s heroes.

Cheryl is the wife of a severely injured veteran. Bryan and Cheryl were married before his second deployment to Iraq. Bryan was severely injured by an improvised explosive device (IED) six weeks before coming home and spent 20 months rehabilitating at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Cheryl graduated with her bachleor's degree in Social Work and started working with Wounded Warrior Wives in August 2010.
New members will receive a special care package, courtesy of a generous anonymous donor, Arbonne International and Operation Homefront. This Caregiver Care Package is full of items to remind caregivers that effectively caring for others requires that they take some time and energy to care for themselves.
